He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cook and Florence Cook (Sweazy); his wife Joan Barnhart; and his siblings, Gerald Cook, Norma Schwalm and Betty Sailor.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Bontrager of Elkhart, Jana Cook of Wakarusa, Stanley Cook, Jr. (Jackie) of Wakarusa, Steve Cook (Barb) of Wakarusa, Tom Cook (Kim) of Union, MI and Jeff Cook of Goshen; and his brothers, Johnny Cook (Nancy) of Goshen and Richard Cook (Diane) of Elkhart. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a special nephew.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Center for Hospice Care Esther's House in Elkhart or the Zion Missionary Church in Elkhart.
