With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra K Hite (Elkhart, Indiana), born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sandra's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sandra has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Hite; and her parents, Berlyn Higgins and Irene Krogstad (Ansorge). She is survived by: her niece Emily Hite; her nephew Ken "Cliff" Hite; her sister-in-law Haydee Hite; her godson Douglas Gleichner; and her pets, Max and Olive.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home (700 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society or to Faith United Methodist Church.
