He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Montgomery and Esther Montgomery; his sister Nourma White; and his son Robert Montgomery, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sun Hui Montgomery; his siblings, Lee Montgomery (Donna) and Maryanne Predebon; his daughter Melissa Leahy; his stepdaughter Ranee Robinson (Michael); and his grandchildren, Christopher Castetter (Khristina), Steven Castetter, Rachel Castetter, Lillian Montgomery (Eduard Ukolov), Deon Mitchell, Makai Mitchell, Grant Robinson (Morgan), Adriana Upham (Blake), Jaylan Robinson (Amanda) and Ethan Robinson (Kaleigh). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
