He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Marshall and Pearl Marshall (Stiffler); and his siblings, Jean Dunnick, Sandra Marshall, James Marshall and Charles Marshall.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Lantz (Bill) of Syracuse, IN and Richard D. Marshall, Jr. (Susan) of Bloomington, IN; and his grandchildren, Christopher Lantz (Andrea) of Huntington, IN, Meghan Sindelar (Jeff) of Syracuse, IN, Ben Marshall of Round Rock, TX, Sarah Freedlund (Sam), Hannah Marshall of Lafayette, IN and Jacob Marshall of Bloomington, IN. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home (700 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
