She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Q. Sloat and Grace M. Cook; her sisters, Betty J. Gilkey and Evelyn M. Miller; her husband James Miller, Jr.; and her son Jay R. Miller.
She is survived by: her sisters, June M. Bowers of Elkhart, Ruth A. Wagoner of Toledo, OH and Sharon E. Hayes of Elkhart. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home (403 W Franklin St, Elkhart, IN 46516). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rice Cemetery (400 James St, Elkhart, IN 46516).
