She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Jackson, and Alonzo Jackson, Sr.; and her sister Christine Walker. She is survived by: her son Raymond Carter; her husband J. C. Carter; her daughter Maria Donyal Gordon (David); her grandsons, Lucas and Christian; her siblings, Pearlene Flake (Phil) of Moscow Mills, MO, Yvonne Williams of Elkhart, IN, James Jackson of Indianapolis, IN, Alonzo Jackson, Jr. (Carnetis), Rev. Charles B. Jackson (Malinda) and Jerel Jackson (Eva) of Elkhart; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Walker and Martha Irving. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (53953 County Rd 17, Bristol, IN 46507).
