He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Robinson; his son Michael Lindsey; his siblings, Dell George, Lula Mae Kent, Mary Alice Barnett and Louis Robinson; and his stepson Wesley Hopkins.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Robinson (Elkhart) of Elkhart, Keborah Glenn (Leonard) of Elkhart, Deborah Robinson-Dale (Lawrence) of Indianapolis, Abdul Robinson (Tara) of South Bend and Charles Lindsey of Laurel, MS; and his stepdaughters, Vanessa Cooper (Thomas) of Cleveland, OH, Donita Hammond (Dewitt) of Cleveland, OH, Chinal Holmes (Reginald) of Cleveland, OH and Latreese Hopkins of Cleveland, OH. He is also survived by ten step grandchildren and twenty step great grandchildren.
