Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Haines and Evelyn Mae Haines (Adams); and his brother Lawrence Haines. He is survived by: his wife Debbie New-Haines of Elkhart; his children, Jamiebeth Haines of Elkhart, Sydney Haines of Edwardsburg and John Daniel Haines of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Kysen J. Gates and Brayden Sanders; his sister Lynnette (Michael); and his grandchildren, Michelle Collins (James), Jeffrey Haines and Laurie Williams (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
