Winer, Jr. (Jessica) of Elkhart, Christina "Chris" Winer (Craig Winters) and Jennifer Winer (Dirk Lester) of Elkhart; his brothers, Joe Winer of Elkhart and Patrick Winer (Cathy) of Mokena, Illinois.; and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Mason, Landry Winer, Theo Lester and Levi Miller. He is also survived by extended family, good friends, firefighter buddies, and neighbors.
