He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Ridgley and Frances Ridgley (Beezley); his wife Carolyn Hummel; his son-in-law Michael Snider; and his siblings, Norma Creecy and Robert Ridgley (Betty).
He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn Bender (Rodman), Linda Snider, Cynthia Knight (Bob), Stephanie Ridgley and Teresa Webb (Mike); and his grandchildren, Bodie Bender (Franki), Brock Bender (Shay), Blane Bender, Tanner Jerles, Abigail Snider (Alec Schneider), Megan Miller (R. J. Jones), Kristin Miller, Joshua Frye and Adam Frye. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home (700 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
