He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Cataldo and Antonia Cataldo (Racca); and his siblings, Teresa, Concetta, Rosa, Guiseppina, Pietro, Domenico and Gesumino.
He is survived by: his wife Melodie; his daughters, Angela Strycker (Jesse) of Athens and Carmela Cowdrey (Eric) of Bristol, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Dylan, Ava Cowdrey and Archer Strycker; his sisters, Carmela and Maria; and his pets, Lucy and Snookie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas (1331 N Main St, Elkhart, IN 46514).
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart, who provided compassionate and dignified care in his final days. Given his love of animals, donations in his name may also be made to The Elkhart Humane Society.
