He was predeceased by: his wife Gayle J. Stees (VanRamshorst); and his parents, Hervey Stees and Lucille Stees (Fry). He is survived by: his children, Michael Stees (Lisa) of Sedelia, MO, Alicia Collins (Daryl) of Elkhart, IN, Vance Stees of Goshen, IN and Julianna Bowers (Oscar) of LaGrange, IN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Frurip-May Funeral Home (309 W Michigan St, LaGrange, IN 46761). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
