She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Thomas and Ether Thomas (Gamble); her husband Paul A. O'Hara; and her siblings, Jesse Gamble, James, Melvin, Johnny Thomas, Annie Whitted (McKnight), Marcella Furlow and Mae Nellie Redding.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Taylor, Jr. and Tonda Hines (Robert) of Elkhart; her brother Charlie Thomas (Debra) of South Bend; her sister-in-law Margaret Owens; and her grandchildren, Nakara Murray (Yarrum) of Elkhart, Xavier Taylor (Crystal) of Chattanooga, TN, Raven Taylor of Houston, Ricky Taylor of Elkhart, Miranda Taylor of Lebanon, Michael Taylor of Nappannee, Todd Johnson, II of Elkhart, RoTony Hines of Elkhart and Camille Butts (Derrick) of Snellsville, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Agape Missionary Baptist Church (248 W Wolf Ave, Elkhart, IN 46516). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A repast will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2130 Middlebury St, Elkhart, IN 46516. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Prairie Street Cemetery (301 E Hively Ave, Elkhart, IN 46516).
