He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Peterson and Josephine Peterson; his wife Barbara Brines; his sister Kay Uline; and his daughter-in-law Lynn Peterson.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Jo Fry; his children, Carrie Drews (Mike) of Elkhart, Ned Peterson of Flower Mound and Connie Peterson of Harrisonburg, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Derek Drews (Jennifer) of Granger, Erin Courey (Jake) of Grand Rapids, Annie Schumacher (Tanner) of Orange, Alec Peterson of Chicago and Jenna Peterson of Springfield; and his great grandchildren, Avery and Declan Drews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home (403 W Franklin St, Elkhart, IN 46516). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jackson Church (2715 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516).
