As Donald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donald. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Barfell and Margaret L. Barfell (Replogle); and his wife Susan Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Blair Barfell (Cari Crosby) of Elkhart, Justin Barfell (Kristy) of Bristol and Jason Barfell (Nicole) of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Austin (Alysa) and Avery Barfell; and his brother Larry Barfell (Jean) of Elkhart. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Inc. (403 W Franklin St, Elkhart, IN 46516). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
