He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry V. Konecny and Lucille C. "Lu" Konecny (Restelli); his siblings, Jerome, Thomas, Peter Konecny, Mary Walker and Patricia Cortas; his siblings-in-law, Ralph Cortas, John Walker, Bryan Cunningham and Linda Konecny; his wife Catherine L. "Cathy" Konecny (Halley); his children, Eric Konecny (Jammie), Anthony Konecny and Monique Konecny; his granddaughter Erica Peludat (Bradley); and his great grandchildren, Carson, Cullen and Cressa.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Konecny, Pamela Bozzuto (August), Margaret Goodman (Gary), Jan Konecny (Denise), Arthur Konecny (Phyllis), Paul Konecny (Cathy), Nina Cunningham, Jennifer Martin (Evan) and Carolyn Blosser (Larry); and his sisters-in-law, Tina Konecny and Deb Konecny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
