With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah L. Slone of Elkhart, Indiana, born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Deborah shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Deborah farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Terry Smothers. She is survived by: her mother Carol Highbaugh of Elkhart; her children, Shannon Carlson (Danny) and Shawn Smothers (Michelle) of Elkhart; and her siblings, Kenny Highbaugh of Elkhart, Tuck Highbaugh of Jones, MI, April Marquez of Elkhart, Tina Schroeder of Elkhart and Teresa Smith (Jay Biltz) of Elkhart. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
