He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Turnipseed and Betty Holtman; his siblings, Alvin "Skip" Holtman and Elizabeth Geist; his son-in-law Bob VanAernam; his sister-in-law Judy Holtman; and his grandson Jesse Elijah Holtman.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Holtman; his children, Timothy Holtman (Jeanetta), Denise Holtman, Jessica Shelton (Joe), Daniel Holtman II (Erika) and Elizabeth Holtman; and his brother Paul Holtman. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana.
