He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Hunt and Merley Hunt (Tyrrell); his brothers, Carl Hunt and Ted Hunt; and his stepgrandson Conner Sargent.
He is survived by: his children, Lauren Martin of Edwards, IL, Josh Hunt (Renee) of Machiponga, VA, Noelle Hunt of Foristell, MO and Joseph Hunt of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Katie Martin, James and Franklin Hunt; his stepdaughter Hollie Sargent (Rick) of Middlebury, IN; his stepgranddaughter Eva Sargent; and his sisters, Joan Barrett of Brimfield, IL and Merley "Penny" Foulk of Sioux City, Iowa..
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home (700 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
