Charles J. Unruh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles J. Unruh of Elkhart, Indiana, born in Munich, North Dakota, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Unruh and Marie Unruh (Fast); and his siblings, Milton Unruh, Marie Unruh, Viola Fast and Thelma Harder.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Unruh; his sons, Dwight Unruh (Demy) of Granger and Doug Unruh (Debbie) of Granger; his grandchildren, Abigael Deering (Robert) and Rachael Bradburn (Andrew); his sisters, Frieda Baldwin of Hope, ND and Martha Fenton of Kilgore, TX; and his sister-in-law Darlene Unruh of Jamestown, ND.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hubbard Hill Estates (28070 Co Rd 24, Elkhart, IN 46517). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Emma Church to assist with the Menno-Clinic Organization.
