He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wesley, Kermit Hatfield and LaRoma Payne. He is survived by: his wife Linda K. Hatfield; his children, Burl Bryan Hatfield II (Lynn) of Milwaukee, Joel P. Hatfield (Shari) of Granger and Merilee E. Hatfield of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Benaiah Hatfield (Heather), Zechariah Hatfield, Ezekiel Hatfield, Adah Bradley (Thomas) and Emily Hatfield. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
He then worked for Prudential Financial in sales for many years and retired from the South Bend Medical Foundation as a courier after many years of service.
