She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Parkhurst and Mary Parkhurst (Fultz); her sister Susan Parkhurst; and her daughter Delceine Manning. She is survived by: her sons, George "Rick" Tam of Elkhart, IN and Dennis Tam (Margaret) of Elkhart, IN; her stepchildren, Michael Phelps of Elkhart, IN. and Kimberly Jones (Phelps) of Elkhart, IN.; and her brother Jack Parkhurst (Sue) of Elkhart, IN.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation (1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
