We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2025, at the age of 94, Betty J. Brown of Elkhart, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Betty had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Betty may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hansen and Eliza Hoover; her husband Earl Brown; and her sisters, Ruth Ann, Katherine and Lou.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Brown (Deb) and Tim Brown (Karen); her grandchildren, Morgan O'Grady, Mathew Brown and Sarah Cory; and her sister Grace. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home (403 W Franklin St, Elkhart, IN 46516). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
