She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Courtois and Mary Courtois (Bannigan); and her husband Donald Louis Peterman. She is survived by: her siblings, Donald Courtois and Jeanne Lawrence (Larry); and her children, Mary Denise Blough (Hobart "Don") of Goshen, Susan Diane Bumgardner (James) of Elkhart, Karen Griffin Sumner of Fitzgerald, Georgia, James Louis Peterman (Nancy) of Omaha and Christine Ann Fluke (Michael) of Olathe, Kansas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
