He was predeceased by: his parents, Arno John and Gretchen Eloise Erickson (Serfling). He is survived by: his children, Brenda Rumfelt of Elkhart, Sandra Eaton of Elkhart and Michael Erickson (Amy Dodson) of Sturgis, MI; his sister-in-law Coralie Anderson; his grandchildren, Anthony Rumfelt, Crystal Bammerlin, Daniel Eaton (Brianna), Tyshawna Felix (Justin) and Michael Erickson; and his pet Oreo. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Walley - Mills - Zimmerman Funeral Service (700 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home (700 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516).
