William Barnes Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Barnes Sr. (Elizabethtown, Indiana), born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on January 8, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Barnes and Mary G. Barnes (Clarkson). He is survived by: his wife Rosie Barnes of Elizabethtown; his children, Maribeth Suhre (Tim) of North Vernon and Billy Barnes (Kim) of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Ben Suhre, Abby Suhre (Adam Capes), Allie Barnes, Anthony Canter and Brenda Canter. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
William is preceded in death by his parents, William F. and Mary Barnes; brother, Roger D. Barnes Sr. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Alert United Methodist Church.
