He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Jines and Hazel Conrad Jines; his wife Donna Phillips; his daughter Candy Wheeler; and his brother Russell Jines.

He is survived by: his sons, Rick Jines (Pat) of Shepherdsville, Larry Jines (Brenda) of Columbus, Bud Jines of Seymour and Raymond Jines (Tracey) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Carisa, Tyler, Nina, Autumn, Rachel, Stephen and Rajeana; and his great grandchildren, Hazel Pearl of Reddington and Joe.

Memorials may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society thru the funeral home.
