She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Lee Young Sampson and George Sampson; her husband Harry "Benjamin" Whipker; her son Henry August Whipker; and her siblings, Mary Jane Davis and Dana Edward Sampson.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Whipker (Kathleen) of Azalia and Diana Dean (Russell Ray) of Westport; her grandchildren, Maxwell Joseph Whipker, Eleanor Irene Whipker, Marcella Rose Whipker (Tyler Elliott), Samantha Raey Dean Peterson (Shane Augustus) and Leelynn Kyle Dean; and her great grandchild Dean Russell Peterson.
