She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Burton and Dorothy Brooks Burton; her son Lonnie Whitis, Jr.; and her brother Larry Burton. She is survived by: her spouse Lonnie Whitis; her children, Jeff Whitis (Kelly) of Columbus, Daniel Whitis of Elizabethtown, Jenny Mings of Taylorsville and Connie Wilson (Jeff) of Ogilville; and her sister Nancy Grisby (Keith) of Anderson, MO. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren, with a great grandchild.
