He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert Riley and Barbara Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Heather Matlock Mercer; his daughters, Lilah Marie and Emersyn LuAnn; his parents, Sam Mercer and LuAnn Riley Mercer of Elizabeth; his grandparents, Velma Riley of Elizabeth and Tom Mercer of Chesterfield, Virginia; his brothers, Brian Mercer (Kendra) of Sellersburg and Bradley Mercer (Brittany) of Elizabeth; and his nieces and nephews, Brinley, Briley Mercer, Lincoln and Griffin Mercer.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up at First Savings Bank for Heather and her children.
