It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Spanger (Edwardsport, Indiana), who passed away on March 3, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Spanger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Richter and Carrie Richter (Sager); her husband Walter Carl Spanger of Edwardsport; and her siblings, Luella Richter, Gerald, Walter and Oscar Richter.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Jean, Walter, Brenda Roark (Dan) of Vincennes, John Spanger (Jan) of Edwardsport and Deb Spanger of Mitchell, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Abby (Ryan Hartwick), Lori (Chris Sanders), Brandon Spanger (Holly), Jonathan Fowler of Seoul and Ben Fowler (Leah); her great grandchildren, Joel, Evan, Carson, Lane, Conner, Heidi, Turner, Indigo and Avery; and her sisters-in-law, Gertrude Dayhuff of Crown Point, Edna Berry of Lyons and Helen Lee of Lafayette. She is also survived by children, and for animals, especially dogs.
