It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celeste Angel McCormick of Edwardsport, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet May O'Conner and Michael O'Conner; her daughter Candy Jo McCormick; her siblings, Theo Yagle and Kevin O'Conner; her grandson Bruce McCormick; and her stepmother Geraldine O'Conner.
She is survived by: her husband Paul McCormick; her children, Curt McCormick of Freelandville, Cathy Kixmiller (John) of Bruceville and Cheryl Mundy (Bob) of Bicknell; her close friend Carol Plummer of Carlisle; her grandchildren, Tommy, Paul McCormick, Amanda Dettloff, Kameron Kixmiller, Katelyn Kixmiller, Ian Kixmiller, Karly Jo Monk, Tyler Mundy and Emily Carroll; and her brother Michael O'Conner (Carol). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
