She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alford and Ettamay Ruth Keith Alford; her husband Robert E. Smith; and her grandson Jeremiah Jarboe. She is survived by: her children, Dana Hodson (John) of Columbus, Randall Smith (Linda) of Roswell, GA and Rodney Smith (Tracy) of Indianapolis; her sisters, Alicia Platt (Larry) of Sugar Hill, GA and Jane Alford of Edinburgh; and her grandchildren, Jessica Purdy (Brandon), Ross Smith (Elizabeth), Amanda Kimsey (Kevin), Drew, Bailey Runnebohm and Bridget Elswick. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
