We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2022, at the age of 70, John R. Mayer Sr. of Edinburgh, Indiana, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Mayer and Bettie Jane Rollison Mayer; and his stepfather Freddie Andreu. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie S. Brooks; his children, John R. Mayer Jr. (Suzie) of Flat Rock, Stacy Funkhouser (Gabe) of Edinburgh and Elizabeth Burton (Darrell) of Edinburgh; his grandchildren, Austin, Macey, Bryce, Kolton and Alyssa; his siblings, Paul Mayer (Maria) of Palatka, Terry Mayer (Tara) of Jacksonville, Florida and Rosemary Goodge (Jarah) of Orlando, Florida; and his child Half-Pint. He is also survived by his son and his grandchildren.
