She was predeceased by: her parents, Horance Touvell and Opal Touvell (Showalter); her husband Don Payne; her children, Terry Thompson and Penny Fields; and her stepchildren, William Payne and Donna Payne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Johnson (Walter) and Paula Spalding (David); and her stepchildren, Cindy Hunsucker, Lydia Foreman (Ron) and Michael Payne. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
