He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Stanton and Mildred (Stubbs); his wife Janet Stanton (Hatfield); his grandson Kyle Mudd; and his siblings, Robert Stanton, Joseph Stanton, Jerry Stanton, James Stanton, David Stanton, Norma Myers, Mary Brown and Elinor Thopy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Devonay Potter of Columbus, Tamara Mudd (Joe) of Edinburgh and Desiree Coulston of Shelbyville; his sister Rebecca Parks of Michigan, Jane.; his friend Beverly Stanton of St. Paul; and his grandchildren, Justin Goode, Katie Mayer (Logan), Lindsay Potter, Chet Mudd, Cameron Coulston and David.
