He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Wathen and Edith Wathen; his son Daniel Wathen (Stephanie); his grandsons, Isaac Hanna and Rowan Wathen; his stepchildren, Roger Kemplin and Natasha Kemplin; his siblings, Richard Wathen (Elizabeth) and Julia Jamison (Michael); his half-sister Jenny Lavender (Sam); his niece Allison Jamison; his nephews, Riley Jamison, Ryan Wathen and Randall Wathen; and his uncle Stan Smith.
