She was predeceased by: her friend Dorothy May Banning; her husband Paul; her siblings, Betty Sparks (Clayton), Mary Lou Hines (Wayne) and Jim Shawhan (Juanita); and her siblings-in-law, John Banning (Donamae) and Maribel Barnard (Phil).
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy, Ken Banning (Jill) of Economy, Paula Hollenberg (Dan) of Economy, Steve Banning of Hagerstown and Peggy Wasicsko (Mark) of Economy; and her grandchildren, Mike, Jen, Abbey, Mitch, Hayley, Pete and Jess. She is also survived by two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
