He was predeceased by: his parents, William Coon and Mini Coon; his wife Shirley Ann Coon; his son Roger Leon Coon; and his siblings, Maxine Hayes, Mary Wheeler and George Coon.
He is survived by: his siblings, William Coon and Bertha Coon; and his children, William Joseph Coon and Tamara Ann Coon. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Culberson Funeral Home to offset expenses.
