It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mitchell (Eaton, Indiana), who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy "Clifford" Mitchell and Alfretta Mitchell (Reynolds); his siblings, Ronald Mitchell, Billy Mitchell and Margaret Mullins; his children-in-law, Elizabeth Mitchell and Mac McKinsey; and his siblings-in-law, Velma Stacey (Herman) and Danny Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mitchell of Shideler; his children, Connie McKinsey of Lafayette, Kathy Main (Steven) of Michigan and Jerry "Jake" Mitchell of Eaton; his brother Donald Mitchell (Darlene) of Eaton; his grandchildren, Neal Spann (Tiffany), Geoff Spann (Amy), Jeremy Spann (Laura), Angela Renken (Troy), Troy Main (Heidi), Candice DeLeeuw (Brandon), Nathan Main (Deanna), Carrie Mitchell of Eaton, Allie Mitchell of Eaton, Casey Mitchell (Justin Cox) and Gaston; and his sister-in-law Sharon Shaffer. He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
