He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bales and Peggy Bales (McKillip). He is survived by: his wife Diana Bales; his daughters, Crystal Thalls (Jacob) and Beth Bales (Aaron Kraus); his grandchildren, Izabella Thalls, Rylan Kraus, Hunter Kraus, Paxton Thalls and Parker Thalls; and his brothers, Tony Bales and John Bales. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
