With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Eugene Peters of East Enterprise, Indiana, who passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Peters and Sallie Peters (Wagner); his brother Harland Peters; his grandparents, Amie Peters, Julia L. Peters (Manser), William Robert Wagner and Angeline Wagner (McCreary); and his brothers-in-law, Walter Louis "Buster" LaVelle and Lyonal Morris Hysell.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Lucille Peters (Ray) of East Enterprise, IN; his sister Lauretta LaVelle of Rising Sun, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Ruby Hysell of Madison, IN, Ronnie and Mary Ray of East Enterprise, IN. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to the East Enterprise Volunteer Fire Department and Life Squad.
