He was predeceased by: his son Joe; his wife Barbara Jane "Barb" Covington (Whitham); his brother Don Michael Covington; his parents-in-law, William Milburn and Mildred Marie "Mickey" Whitham (Craig); and his brothers-in-law, Donald E., Dennis R. Whitham and James "Jimmy" Russell Whitham.
He is survived by: his parents, Donnie Covington and Pansy Covington (Scudder) of East Enterprise, IN; his grandsons, Mason Joseph and Myles Jacob; his children, MacKenzie Jane Covington (Matt Beck) of Bargersville, IN, Mason Joseph Covington of East Enterprise, IN and Myles Jacob Covington (Audrey Griffin) of Ft. Carson, CO; his brothers, Brian Covington (Carol) of East Enterprise, IN and Mark Covington (Rosie) of Florence, IN; and his pet Cash. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as, his wife's extended family.
