He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Becerra and Aurora Becerra (Rodriguez); his siblings, Martin Becerra, Jr., Maria Paez and Maria "Teresa" Becerra; and his nephew Jason Johns.
He is survived by: his sons, Xavier Becerra, Jr. (Lisa), Richard Becerra (Sylvia), Christopher Becerra (Karolyn), Steven Becerra (Lisa) and Gregory Becerra; and his siblings, Frank X. Becerra (Lupe), Joseph Becerra, Jesse Becerra (Maria Carmen), Guadalupe "Lupe" Becerra and Gloria Samardzich (Mike). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
