Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Victoriana De Leon of East Chicago, Indiana, born in Port Isabel, Texas, who passed away at the age of 94, on November 25, 2024. She was predeceased by: her husband Felix; her mother Guadalupe Fernandez; and her siblings, Christina, Jose Luis and Arnold.
She is survived by: her children, Javier De Leon (Hilda), Margarita Torres (Gerardo), Angelina Fifer (Randall) and Felix Jose De Leon (Jodi); her grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Robert, Amie, Kristel, Catherine, Erika, Stephanie, Michael T, Emily, McKayla and Isabella; her great grandchildren, Caitlin, Felicity, Julian, Korah, Maria, Aiko, Elaina, Madilyn, Lyla, Andrew, Camille, Eric Jr., Lucian, Jackson, Colby, Embyr, Raziel and Michaela; her brother George A Puentes; her nephew Dario Duarte; and her great grandchildren, Matthew and Marisol. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (802 W 144th St, East Chicago, IN 46312). A prayer was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 7:00 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the St. John Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
