We bid farewell to Rosamelia Guadalupe of East Chicago, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Rosamelia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Cruz and Evaristo Cruz; and her daughter Glorimar "Lali" Novoa. She is survived by: her husband Sandy Guadalupe; her children, Kevin Guadalupe (Wilma) and Kiki Encarnacion (Hector); her grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin (Anatasia), Jazmin, Diamond, Christian and Lucas; her great grandchildren, Jalen, Jade, Josette, Jerimiah, Niamiah, Ezekiel and Issiah; and her siblings, Margie Cuevas (Luis) and Jose Arturo De La (Marta). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fife Funeral Home (4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (3802 Grand Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the St. John Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
