She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo DeJesus and Amalia DeJesus (Acevedo); her husband Valentin Almodovar; and her son Hector Almodovar. She is survived by: her children, Elsa Cole (Nolan), Maria of Lourdes Covarrubias, Mildred Almodovar and Valentin Almodovar, Jr.; her sisters, Inocencia Lugo and Carmen Iris De Jesus; her grandchildren, Anais, Miguel, Amarilis, Brandon, Carmelo, Paulie, Jeremy, Rudy and Cristal; and her sisters-in-law, Olga Carrion and Santy Cintron. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
