She was predeceased by: her parents, Elodia Alcala and Francisco Samano; her siblings, Arthur Ruiz, Alfonso Ruiz (late Dolores), Francisco Samano, Manuel Samano, Lorenzo Davila (late Anna), Helen Gonzales (late Joseph), Brigida Ochoa (late Joe) and Juanita Ortega (late Lupe); her nieces and nephews, Michael Gonzales, Guillermo Ruiz, John Leone, Jose Martin Vaca, Victoria Ruiz, Stella Ortega and Andrea Samano; her brother Rafael; and her sister-in-law Anita Ruiz.
She is survived by: her husband Luis Estrada; her children, Luis Estrada (Lilly), Veronica Slivko (Al) and Maria Elena Ford (Jesse); her grandchildren, Luis Estrada (Kristal), Vannesa Villarreal, Meagan Iruegas (Luis), Victoria Ford, Ava Slivko and James Ford; her great grandchildren, Tristan Comanse, Mariah Comanse, Luis Estrada, Niyelli Estrada, Bradley Dorsey, Gabriel Estrada, Alijah Estrada and Carlos Iruegas; her sisters, Petra Vaca and Lola Samano; her sister-in-law Gloria Samano; and her friend Rose Borjas. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
