She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony "Tony" Cardiel; her son Mark Anthony Cardiel; her parents, Lorenzo Soto and Victoria Soto; and her siblings, Jesse, Andrew, Manuel, Angie, Helen and Vicki.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael, Kenneth and Manuel; her brother Vincent Soto (Becks); and her grandchildren, Irene, Vanessa Moya (Jesus), Ilianna, Richard, Michelle, Mark Jr., Elizabeth and Jacob. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
