It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Olga Soto of East Chicago, Indiana, born in Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacio Guerrero and Maria Guerrero; her siblings, Irma Guerrero, Rosalinda Amaro and Rogelio Betancourt; her husband Arcadio Soto; her children, Josephine Garnello and Fernando Soto; her daughter-in-law Jean Soto; and her grandchildren, Jose Garnello, Richard Camacho, Michael Soto, Miranda Garnello and Fernando "Little Nando" Soto.
She is survived by: her children, Hernan Soto, Veronica Sanchez (Victor), Rosemary Garnello, Annie Hernandez and Yara Nunez (Jose); her daughter-in-law Theresa Soto; and her brothers, Ignacio Guerrero and Luis Betancourt.
